Masala dosa: India’s most preferred and delicious food
The quintessential and popular South Indian dish, dosa is a lip smacking comfort food that one can eat in any given course of food. It is a very common dish prepared in every South Indian home as one of the most preferred breakfast.
Over time, dosa has had a number of variations but the most popular remains the masala dosa.
Masala Dosa is light, crispy and crepe like stuffed with spiced potatoes. The potatoes are lightly cooked with onions, spices, curry leaves and mustard seeds, wrapped in a crisp rice and lentil crepe. It is best enjoyed with a bowl of sambhar and coconut chutney on the side.
